I got this for christmas going to have a go at it soon going to cook Cajun Chicken with salady bits and sweet potato how can you cook a meal in 15 mins!
I used to be able to do cauliflower cheese, chips & bacon in 20 minutes start to finish but I'd be hard pressed to do it that fast now. Also, many years ago, I remember seeing the chef on the BBC food programme(Michael something or other) prepare and serve a steak with courgette fried in butter in the same time it took a ready meal to be heated up (no chips though). But preparing a carbo-hydrate like potato (even sweet ones) or rice would still take me more than 15 minutes. I suppose it depends on how much pre-prepared stuff one is using; bags of ready washed salad stuff, ready made spice mixes, marinades and stock all speed up the process, and JO is notorious for just happening to have exactly the right ingredient to hand, even if that ingredient is only available one day a month from a specialist supplier in the Outer Hebridies. And even a semi-professional will have much faster knife skills to prepare meat and veg.

Or do what my Dad used to do: get the kids to peel the spuds, and do the other prep before you get home from work! (That was in the days when my parents couldn't see the need for a dishwasher - until that was the slave labour left home!)
