Is that book online?
I have some Skidmore's on my tree, they don't seem to link to the ones on BCC!

No, Snoopysue, I bought it direct from Linda Moffatt, it's a very impressive piece of scholarship, about 400 pages, published in 2004. This is the link:

http://www.skidmoregenealogy.com/family ... tryuk.html

As she says on her website: "The Skidmore family is not in any danger of extinction. In the United States there are almost 4000 heads of households named Skidmore (including the less common spellings of Scudamore, Scidmore and Sidmore) with listed telephone numbers" !

Where are you based bear?

If you are not near the archives some of us sometimes go and can do look ups
need day month year and church
or if you go to the wmbsgh site you get
the year couple and church and last number is entry no
so we can look up marriage via that

it is only as and when someone is going but if you go to look up requests section
you will see a thread entitled dudley and smethwick post your look ups here
stick it there and we will do our best can't guarantee it but we are getting thru em
