Best chocolate - Lindt & Sprungli

Best dessert wine - All Saints Liqueur Tokay from Rutherglen, Victoria - heaven! (sigh)

(Best indulgence - eating Lindt chocolate and drinking All Saints Tokay while reading a good book in a bubble bath!!!)

Best cakes - Wickedly Delicious in Monbulk, Victoria (Been there, Mark? If not, try it!)

Pre Diabetes I went there.....

Now I think a visit would melt my Glucose Meter and my dietician would hunt me down and kill me for eating from the "banned" list :P

So now I eat Yogurt with fresh berries and pretend it is as good as a nice cream cake.....

Do you go to Miss Marples in Sassafras?

That is my favorite eating spot in The Dandenongs.

I wouldn't be surprised if a visit to Wickedly Delicious actually caused your diabetes, Mark.
Yes, I've been to Miss Marples many times ... less times than I've tried and failed because of the long queues at the door!

We were waiting in the queue for Miss Marples and my youngest daughter said she wished a passing car would backfire. She thought the shock would have got rid of half the old people in front of us

Well since no one has piped in here from the US, I must say the best steaks are right here, in the "Heart of America", it's pretty hard to beat our Kansas City Strip Steak. The Prime Rib is also great, served rare with a lot of horseradish. Now fish, that's another story.
