Is that how you say Berridge in deepest Cambridgeshire...Burrage?

I'm guessing back then the East Anglian dialect probably spread further across west, so they'd probably have had an accent like the fens these days. In which case, it'd probably sound like Burdge. Just drop half the letters and you'll end up with something about right
