i cant seem to find anything about john berridge born abt 1869 old warden bedfordshire.he married kate sophia shelton abt 1895.any information would be great.many thanks

I'm guessing back then the East Anglian dialect probably spread further across west, so they'd probably have had an accent like the fens these days. In which case, it'd probably sound like Burdge. Just drop half the letters and you'll end up with something about right :lol:
