William Griffiths was an engine driver in a colliery. He married Polly c. 1891, by 1911 they had 10 children.

I'm still thinking about the similarity between the two names, NL, Lilian Eveline Victoria Griffiths and Lilian Victoria Griffiths, it seems too great to be coincidental. That said, there was a Lilian Victoria Griffiths born about September 1895 in West Bromwich (the one I mentioned) and also a Lilian Evelyn S. Griffiths born about June 1897 in Wolverhampton.

Sorry, I've been missing the main point  William Francis Griffiths the father. There were two born in the area in 1867, one in Tipton and one in West Bromwich. Polly's husband was indeed an engine driver. Polly = Mary, I presume.

So on the 1911 census William Griffiths with wife Polly is an engine driver
that has to be our lot then

2nd Dec 1916 Christchurch Oldbury
Samuel Beard- 26- bach- stoker- 52 Dudley Road- William Beard Labourer
Lilian Eveline Victoria Hadley- 21- widow- packer- 3?- Dudley Rd- William Francis Griffiths- Engine driverbanns
X Samuel/ Lilian signed
Wit- William Beard/Elizabeth Griffiths

1901
Surname Forename(s) Surname Forename(s) Church / Register Office Registers At Reference
GRIFFITHS William F HOLDING Polly F West Bromwich Register Office Sandwell Register Office WBRO/36/138

Is this the full 1911 on this lot

I am a bit confused about the exact 1911 census is it this

1911: all living at 15, Cronehill St, West Bromwich,
William Griffiths 44 b. Princes End,
Polly 39,
Lily daughter single b. about 1896 WB,

and is this William Griffiths the one with father Edward/edwin?

Marriage is regis office so cant look it up
