Help I'm getting really confused.

I think we have 2 Cox families both marrying into the same Jones family -

Cox family 1
Shadrach Cox son of Stephen Cox and Mary A Turner m 1894
Stephen Cox son of Benjamin and Maria (siblings Sarah(Amstia?) Rebecca Simion Jesse Rhoda)

Cox family 2
Lucy Jones daughter of William Jones and Louisa COX m 1856
Loiusa Cox daughter of Benjamin Cox and Elizabeth Harper ( siblings William,Elizah,Andrew,Hannah,Mariah)

Whether these two families were originally one Cox family with the Benjamins being cousins both named after a Benjamin grandfather has yet to be seen.

From their birth dates I would think Thomas Cox and Nancy West are most likely to be parents of Benjamin 1 and therefore GG?grandparents of Shadrach.

That Samuel Jones that married Mary Basterfield is a carter and William Jones is a Carter on marriage
and on census in 1881 William father is a carter
