comes up with 'Sorry there is an Error' then the site is busy 'Please try later'
I been on the site for over an hour this afternoon and managed to get
one census: What was wrong with the old one?????????????

Re: Anyone like the NEW Find My Past?
Not mad keen, after my first search -don't like the way that a record is under baptisms and births and ends up being a BMD entry - I know when my ancestor was born, so I was thinking it may be a baptism entry (which I don't have). I'd much rather be able to see what source the record is from before actually looking at it! The filters are way too general, and confusing - I had to go into two different before I found the right settings.
Also the search results came up with 30 odd newspaper articles, however the majority were before my ancestor was born!
I did like that I could change the search details at the top of the page, rather than having to go into a seperate edit section.

I only like the bit where they give a description of the surname
It's easy to stand with the crowd . It takes courage to stand alone

Address search was best part of FMP but now is useless . Sent opinion to FMP forum and FMP but no reply as yet.
There are some Audio/Visual guides but no use to me as I am hard of hearing. I need a written user friendly guide

Re: Anyone like the NEW Find My Past?
Thanks NL
but still cannot carry out a simple address search
For example if I want Church Street Old Hill in 190I
I click on UK. and England
I fill in Birth Town and County
Then Place Town and County and then Street
but no meaningful result
