BRILLIANT Wolvie!! So pleased for you
One of the commentators on the radio read that verse out during the game.

Today's the day!!
My mate Winston couldn't go to the bingo last night in Weoley Castle! Too nervous!!
His missus had to go on her own.She won as well!! And she wont give him his share!!
That's typical of course of the stronger sex they do not understand the emotions of football.
Anyway moving on.
Gil Merrick (who's he?) only the England keeper in the early 50's,will be at the game to sign copies of his book.
My father in law worked with Gil Merrick in Brum for a good many years.Len Boyd worked there as well.
This was in the days that footballers needed an extra job to supplement their meagre wages.
Who pocketed all the money in those halycon days of 30-40000 gates?
James Mcfadden should be making his comeback today and he's a quality player and Winston's thrilled that UB40 are urging fans to get behind their team on saturday!!
Preston are chasing a play off spot so it wont be an easy game but a win today will guarantee promotion so let's keep our fingers crossed.
Otherwise it's the last match of the season at Reading!!!
West Brom are still in with a chance despite what the pundits are saying on Match of the Day.
If they win the last 5 matches of the season they'll have 40 points!! Sorted!!

Lets hope you're right Rob
Our daughter's going on a hen night tonight and rang to say, would we have our g.daughter ? No problem until I realised I wouldn't be able to watch the match at our club - no children :o

A phone call to our son...big screen ...surround sound...booze flowing....nibbles......other grandchild to play with......SORTED!!

Come on you Blues!!!!

I'm glad for The Wolf Man let's hope they stay in the Premier League longer than the last time!!
But spare a thought for Winston!! He went out last night and hasn't got home yet!! He told his missus he was going out to drown his sorrows and ended up having to stay at a mate's house for the night.Legless!!
I was speaking to his better half this morning and she's gonna kill him when he finally turns up.
One of the grandkids birthday today as well!!!
But hey that's what the emotions of football can do!!
Now he's got the crunch match at Reading to look forward to.I worry for him i really do!
Anyway West Brom have won.Is this the first leg of "The Great Escape"? They played well,no early goals against them but it was a poor Sunderland side. But 3 points are 3 points and Tony Mowbray looks quite cute when he smiles!!
Next match Spurs at White Hart Lane. They were unlucky not to get something at The Theatre of Dreams yesterday.A bad penalty decision turned the game in United's favour.
Spurs are a good side but who knows.I'm confident and so is my mate David.
Have a nice weekend or what's left of it.It's raining here but the farmers need the rain so lets not be selfish.

Well tomorrow,i mean today's the big day.3 teams involved and Crystal Palace to play an important part!!
West Brom to go down, there i've said it!! :o
But they'll go down playing the best football between the 18 yard boxes as any other team in the Premier!!
Watching Long John Baldry on BBC 4 so i'm off!!
San good luck and to Winston who's a bag of nerves but he'll be at Reading tomorrow.I hope it's a good day for him cos we're going to France in a couple of weeks and i dont want any miserable people around me!!

Sorry I didn't wish you luck today Rob

Will this make up for it? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u6Tla25fqKQ

A bit downhearted regarding Blues news this week, regarding no money for new signings  I hope it's not gonna make the players feel the same tomorrow!

Yes Rob, we're there !! Brilliant  A bit of a nail biter towards the end apparently
Now it's all down to what's gonna be made available to spend. I'm so pleased that Winston's a happy man, I bet he'll be bingo-ing again tonight?

There's still a small chance for West Brom isn't there?

How about that then Wolvie??? (he's probably still celebratin')
