East/West Meld - combining Asian and European styles and flavours. The lime in Mally's recipe gave me the idea - I love lime and coconut together.
I'll shop tomorrow and cook on Sunday. Might have a bit of difficulty finding fresh Tarragon as it's Autumn here now. Can I use dried?
Some mistakes are too much fun
to only make once.

I don't see why not Di, I might end up doing the same if I can't find any

I'm not sure what to serve with mine yet but the coconut rice sounds really good

Coconut rice IS the veg. Cook the rice by the absorption method and use half & half water & coconut milk.

Rite well I did it!

Did anyone else?

And well....the chicken was good but I have some Criticism because of course we have to be brutally honest don't we

I thought the oven was too hot should be 160 not 200 unless you like charcol
The butter and lime zest was good but that pouring over the lime juice what a waste of time!
I think it would have been better added to the sauce at the end.
The chicken should have been wrapped in foil with the butter mix on- to keep it moist

now on to the rice I did
I did Basmati cocounut and lemon grass and it was disgusting!!
ugh!!!
So too many flavours
:o
I added mushrooms, peppers and spring onions but plain rice or just with a touch of coconut would have been good

so on the whole wish I had had fish n chips!!
no it was nice apart from the lemon rice

so I give it a
no hang on
I give it a

sorry ...I give it a :-)

I did mine as well tonight.I kinda thought as i was spreading the butter mixed with the zest how many calories were involved here.
Not for me of course as i have a body that doesn't need to slim but for the other members of my household who are watching their figures.
The chicken was delicous the flavours were lovely although one of my daughters, because lime is not something we use normally, wanted to know what this strange taste was.Or words to that effect!!!
I did carrots and peas, out of my allotment, with a greek salad and boiled potatoes.
The chicken prepared this way i'll do again but next time less butter and probably with out the cream as well.
I wanted to take a photo but the digital camera needed loading up!
One of my daughters had borrowed it!!
