I intend to buy a Doro 615 mobile any opinions please ????...(phone for deaf)

Spooky...I was looking at those with my Dad last week.

Reminded me of an old fashioned Motorola Flip phone from a few years back.

Good sized buttons and seemed to do everything a modern phone should....including making phone calls!

It took a bit of mucking around but we finally got it working with Dad's hearing aid.

I don't know of anything else dedicated to the hearing (and slight sight) impaired.

Its functional but doesn't look super high tech.

Dad was thinking about it but there not any real good plans that included it over here.

They get good reviews here, being easy to use - not sure about the deaf angle though. Big buttons, no extras such as cameras - some have a programable SOS button, so it's easy to get help in an emergency.

The Doro 615 has got a Camera and is suitable for use with Hearing Aid have checked with my Audiologist and she said the are the best!
and function for loud or low.

Snoopysue........A super Mobile, either for Hearing Aid use or normal....A Telecoil program but I don't use it just normal phone turned up loud
even on other mobiles they have'nt sorted volume out yet iPod etc.
Brilliant item......good show for the Swedish company......Have a look on Net ....full details.
