I think I was mistaken with thinking there were two Harry Coley Smiths in the one grave, I only had one number and two Harrys.

Halesowen and Leicester Families website has info on Harry Coley Smith died1942 age 75 he was the husband of Annie Coley Smith who died in 1920. She was Annie Halward before marriage. There was a large age gap in their ages between them which confused me.

I have checked Romsley and Hunnington History Society website and there were only two of them in grave no104

I haven't time at moment to go through this as my visitors have just arrived. Can you wait till I have had a look? One thing I have noticed is the probate was granted to Alice Syner - she is Harrys sister nee Alice Coley, Richard Coley Smiths daughter. From another relative I understand that Harry and Annie had no children ( hardly surprising as I think she was 61 when she got married), this would explain why his sister and brother in law were granted probate.
Thanks everyone for your hard work.

So is that Alices 2nd marriage

we may have it wrong with her marrying a Wm Brock?

1892
BROCK William COLEY Alice Halesowen, St John the Baptist Dudley Register Office 014/006/274

1940
Surname Forename(s) Surname Forename(s) Church / Register Office Registers At Reference
SYNER Samuel SMITH Alice Stourbridge Register Office Dudley Register Office 001/05A/56

poss death
Deaths Jun 1922
Brock William 55 W.Bromwich 6b 759

do we think we can add in that 2nd marriage
wonder why she married as Smith if that is her? and not Brock
