Now I'm a bit puzzled because on Eleanor's marriage in 1888 her father is listed as deceased, yet we have him still alive on the subsequent censuses and a possible death of 1917
Is that just an error on the marriage or have we got things completely wrong on BCC?
Thanks peterd I think I have maybe got Eleanors mixed up here .... I think we might need that other marriage that you found ?
STAMP Eleanor SOUTHALL William H 1880 Smethwick, Holy Trinity West Midlands Sandwell Register Office 1/2/475
...will post for lookup.
Another thing ....looking at the witnesses on Eleanor's marriage ... none of those Stamps appear to be brothers or sister of the Eleanor already on BCC
