Still got a betamax video in the loft and a box full of tapes. Might donate them to a museum eventually!
There is definitely value in keeping stuff. My old Viglen computer gave up the ghost 6 years ago. I didn't ditch it, it went into the loft. There were too many precious files on the hard drive. A couple of weeks ago I bought a really neat bit of kit which meant I could remove the hard drive and boot it up using a usb drive to my laptop. Bingo all my files were available to copy onto my new computer!! Well chuffed.

In my experience they come back again all too soon with even more stuff than they left with!
Don't need to come back, my parents have still got some of my clutter in their loft and I left about 22 years ago (with a 3 month visit between end of studying and finding a job)! And I know what's there so they can't just bin it!!!

Too much information Party Poppers to me are small, plastic bottles. You pull a string and eject tiny paper streamers.
Just because you're Paranoid, it doesn't mean to say they're not out to get you.

Don't bet on it! I left two suitcases of stuff at my parents and my mother went through it at some point, gave some stuff to my sister and other stuff to unknown people/places so I ended up with two suitcases containing considerably less than I thought. I really lamant the loss of two vintage dresses which she had tried to throw away once before. I thought they would be safe in the suitcases, I mean it isn't as though they took up less space when she had finished editing the contents
