Campaign to free ourselves of clutter

Post by Northern Lass »

Are you Sterile or Clutter folk

Just been helping clear some stuff up and don't some folk have some clutter.
I am with the Sleeping with the enemy film when she opens the cupboards
and they are all in order!

Those are mine!
:o

How I refrained from binning the whole lot ......................

Clutter Im afraid
So many sentimental things that I just couldnt part with, fill all the space and the lift!
Cards, bits of notes the kids wrote, pictures they did, photos, material that may come in useful and bubble wrap you just never know when you need it...

So no I wont campaign to free clutter, its me...

I am definitely with you on that Jo-- what is the point of throwing something away and then finding you a use for it just after the bin men have been?

My children keep trying to minimilize me because they know how bad things were when my Mum died -- I take after her! -- but I can't bear to throw away anything that might turn out to be an heirloom!

 What a good idea, I think I might try that.

I am a World Class Clutterer but am presently trying to clear some of it. I think I need to phone for a Skip. A garage sale would be a good idea but I'd have to clear out the garage first to be able to do it.

I am ruthless and have a good clear out every year. I do have boxes of the kids and grandkids "creative" stuff and I always keep the programmes from shows I have been to see. My ex was a terrible hoarder, so I would clear out his stuff and store it in the attic for a year - if he hadn't asked where it was, then I would recycle it. I remember he had white suits with extensive flares from his days with a pop group in the '70's. These were kept in a box in the attic, and I had great pleasure giving them to him when he left.
There's no place like home ......
