Now on the 1861 the coal miner is with Matilda unknown

BAKER, Matilda Wife Married F 43 Rowley Regis Staffordshire
BAKER, Anne Daughter Unmarried F 20 Brierley Hill Staffordshire
BAKER, Joseph Son M 13 Coal Miner Brierley Hill Staffordshire
BAKER, Isaiah Son M 11 Coal Miner Brierley Hill Staffordshire
BAKER, Matilda Daughter F 6 Scholar Brierley Hill Staffordshire
BAKER, John Son M 4 Scholar Brierley Hill Staffordshire

Butcher is in Blackheath still with wife Louisa

I know they are different families cos I have them both on 1851 and 1861

coal miner........

1851 Dudley Road Kingswinford
Joseph Baker h m 32 Coal miner Staffs Tipton
Hannah Baker wife m 31 Sedgley
Catherine Baker dau 11
Ann Baker dau 9
Julia Baker dau 7
Sarah Baker dau 6
Joseph Baker son 3
Isaiah Baker son 1
all others born Kingswinford

and

Butcher...

1851 Census Blackheath Rowley Regis
Joseph Baker head mar 40 Butcher b Rowley Regis
Louisa Baker wife mar 35 Kingswinford Staffs.
Meriah Baker dau unm 10 b Rowley Regis
Henry Baker son 8 b Rowley Regis

now my query is how can this be the marriage for the coal miner to Matilda

Joseph Baker the butcher was still married to Louisa in 1891, so there must of been 2 Josepg Bakers's who were butchers,

1891 Oldbury Road Rowley Regis
Joseph Baker 82 H M Retired Butcher
Louisa Baker 74 W M

This gets more confusing

I was going to get this birth certif but wanted just to check before I sent so I sent this
to the Regis office....

I only want to order it if the mother is Matilda Marston
or similar name.
Births Jun 1855
Baker Matilda W. Bromwich 6b 641
Father should be Joseph Baker too

the lovely folk at regis office sent me this....

Thank you for your email regarding the birth certificate for Matilda Baker.
Unfortunately we could only find one Matilda and neither of her parents matched the details provided.
My colleagues in the search team have also done a search a few years either side of 1855 and no other traces could be found.
Sorry to provide you with disappointing information, but I ultimately hope you find the entry you require as you continue your research

so where is that Matilda who is on the 1861?
is she regis under another name
