Re: Photo Blog
As it's FA cup weekend I've added the link to my latest blog, which shows a restored photo of the FA cup winners from 100 years ago.
Have a look to see who the winners were. A bit of local history provided for the centenary anniversary.

Thanks to those who sent their photos. Unfortunately the free offer is now closed - we'll look to run it again next January.
In the meantime we do offer a free photo dating service if anyone is struggling dating a photo.

Re: Old Photo Repair
Morning,
just a quick note further to the above.
We've had a couple of enquiries, which we're working on, but when making your initial enquiry if you could mention you saw this post on the Geneology Forum that would be helpful.
Thanks

Re: Photo Restoration
Evening,
if you roll the mouse over the damaged image on the photo restoration page you can see the restoration work.
However, to demonstrate I have attached both pictures here.

Re: Total Novice with a thirst to learn
Thanks for all the pointers, I really want to learn as I go and having read the sticky in the forum I think it's good that the answers aren't provided and that you just get clues to learn yourself. I don't have a marriage certificate but my Mum may hold some stuff somewhere in relation to Grandparen...

Like I say, I have the names and I know the names of my grandparents so if someone could give me a pointer i...
