hi, we never found why thomas was on the 1881 census, he did of course have a younger brother called thomas. whether he may of wished to have a different identity,who knows. just joined today in the sunny northwest,been looking into ancestry for awhile and look forward to joining you all,
researching HUGHES,BENNETT,BILLINGAM's in worcester/staffordshire at present and OUTLAW'S,MAXEY'S in norfolk,suffolk and essex.I always thought my roots were in middlesbrough. :roll:
