only came across bcc afew days ago when searching for info on lye waste, can't see a connection yet but the site inte
rests me a great deal.
my billingham connection is on my gt grandmothers birth certificate 1st sep 1858 saltwell kingswinford ESTHER,father WILLIAM BENNETT,mother SYLVIA formerly BILLINGHAM.
census 1851 H0 107/2036 SYLVIA BENNETT age 33 village mount pleasant kingswinford ecc dist quarry bank.I have seen various spellings ie,selvin, selina but SYLVIA appears to be correct.
this is one part of the family I am hoping to find more on and will post details soon.
