its looking good but dont know where the name theersa has appeared from? there are definitely no GRO births for a Theresa Gameson of that age. then for the census returns she is Tracey, at least that is one of her names. would be nice to know where Kate has got to. i will assume that she never actua...

there are no other henry gamesons born in the decade 1860 to 1870 so who else could it be.

looking at GRO theres a florence r gameson death in mar 1866. never new about her as not indicated in census and i havent done PR searches for this line of enquiry yet.

just to find edward and rebbeca now.

so its looking like henry and rebecca had two kids called edward and rebecca and when rebecca passed away henry moved kate and her two kids in after her partner james passed away and then in 1881 the enumerator lumped them all together as gamesons.
it seems more than feasible to me.

iaw GRO Henry Gameson married Rebecca Mary Morris in jun 1863 in Kings Norton Birmingham. on the 1871 census Henry is aged 31 living with two of the children Edward aged 7 and Rebecca aged 4. the mother is elsewhere in Birmingham ( aged 28). the GRO records a rebecca Gameson (aged 36 ) dying in Asto...

i have thrown up 5 ancestors of interest of which i have found 4 using your method so thanks for that. there is a fifth i am having difficulty with and they are listed in st thomas birmingham court 2 vere street but there is no enumeration district listed as st thomas just all saints, lady woon (sic...
