Re: Seeing double
.....I find an Army Birth (different BMD index) for a Rosanna Deane in 1853. The purchased certificate showed that this Rosanna was born 5 Nov 1853 to James Deane (again a sergeant) and Elizabeth O'Hara. What was the address given on this one? No address, just Date of Birth, Date and Place of Bapti...

Yeah, but can't find one, but it certainly looks like the first Rosanna died. That's the only possible explaination.

Re: Please help me im so confused
All I can find is a potential birth for Thomas: Q2 (AMJ) 1904, Chester, 8a 399.
Get his birth certificate to determine his mother's name and maiden surname, then find his parents marriage to determine their age, then find them in the censuses.

Re: SCANTLEBURY, Looe, Cornwall, c1875
Hello again. I've finally sorted them out, but it was quite a challenge. Harriet Ann Scantlebury is registered as Skentlebury, and her father Charles Scantlebury is registered as Charles Mutton Scantelberry (note the spellings). The birth certificate for Charles states first names as Charles Mutton,...
