WILKINSON Bert 1898 West Bromwich South West Sandwell Register Office West Midlands WBSW/121/36
N/A

Surname Forename(s) Spouse's Surname Spouse's Forename(s) Year Church / Register Office Registers At Region Reference Order On-line
WILKINSON Bert SMITH Clara 1917 West Bromwich Register Office Sandwell Register Office West Midlands WBRO/63/147

The weird thing is i cant find anything in the 1901 or the 1911 census about them but i know my Grandad was in the army in ww2 in italy.
I got as far as 1840 on my moms side of the family Joseph Clive around 1840 married a Mary ? 1849 who had children Isiah Clive 1866. Joseph Clive 1862 and Edward Clive 1868 but again hit a brick wall.

Yeah its says Bert wilkinson and Clara Lydia Smith. I questioned that before about Bert being short for Albert. I will have to order the marriage certificate before i can go any further. Thanks for your help. What would i have to do to find the rest of the family on my mothers side ?

Yes thats the clives. So the mother is Ann, wonder what her maiden name is? Or is she a clive ? This gets so confusing. Glad you know what your doing. Your being a great help.
