Done a look up and it is conf*using need help guys and gals!

This lady is down as Rudge her father is a William Harrold ( that is what it looked like and I had the originals out and everything!)

NL, there's an Ancestry tree which suggests that Mary Ann Rudge had parents William Harrold and Margaret Rudge.

There's a widowed daughter -in-law Margaret Rudge 28 and grand-daughter Mary Ann Rudge 5 living with John Rudge 59 and his wife, Elizabeth 59 in Birmingham Street, Halesowen in 1861.
Some mistakes are too much fun
to only make once.

On the 1871 Mary Ann is with looks like Phoebe Rudge and her husband George Williams as a step dau

I think that Phoebe is the mother of Mary Ann Rudge

So she was born out of wedlock
Cos on the census Phoebe Rudge is unm
So perhaps William Harrold was the father

anyone any thoughts? :?


not sure Mally if connected this looks like that marriage
