COMPLETED......Richard Pearce possible marriage error
I am researching Pearce family and have added members of family down the line from Richard but my research suggests he did not marry Eleanor Tromans but married Ellen Yates . Note Census clearly shows Ellen not Eleanor .

Found This on Ancestry which notes Ellen Yates not Eleanor Tromans
“Ellen Pierce Weston Perk's History†by William Hubrey Wilson, Grandson March 10, 1966
Based on notes from Mary Wilson Shoell, Great Granddaughter, and
Gayleen Shoell Ellis, GG Granddaughter
Compiled by Victoria Wilson Chambers, GG Granddaughter 2010
(Note: Two different spellings appear in records: Pierce and Pearce.)
William Weston was the oldest of eight children born to Thomas and Sarah Mullet Weston, about 1822 in Gosty Hill, Rowley Regis, Staffordshire. He married Ellen Pierce about 1851 and they became the parents of eight children within 15 years:
Hanna, daughter, born August 10, 1852. She married Richard Hadley in 1874 and they became the parents of four children. She died September 15, 1892 and he died in 1939.
Joseph, son, born October 1, 1854. He died the same year.
Daniel, son, born July 13, 1856. He died as a child in about 1864.
William, Jr., son, born May 1, 1858. He married Rose Hannah Bayless June 10, 1877.
Mary, daughter, born October 8, 1859. She married Albert Willetts about 1880. He died in 1906. She remarried Fred Langren and they lived in Petaluma, California. She died in 1935.
Ruth, daughter, born November 28, 1861. She married Joseph Wilson November 20, 1878 and following his death in 1892, married Frank Hubrey about 1899. She immigrated to Canada and then the United States and died December 21, 1950 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Thomas, son, born October 22, 1863. He married Sarah Jane Lea about 1888. He died October 24, 1949.
Sarah Ellen, daughter, born February 22, 1866 and married William Deeley about 1881. He died December 25, 1893 and she died May 1952.
William died at the age of 43, in October 1865, leaving the responsibility of a large, young family to his wife, Ellen. In fact, Ellen gave birth to their youngest child, Sarah Ellen four months after his death. He is buried at St. Luke's Church, Four Ways Churchyard, Cradley Heath, Staffordshire. (below)
Memories of Ellen Pierson Weston Perks by William Hubrey Wilson, Grandson:
“Grandmother Weston lived with us in England. She was very soft spoken, a gentile lady. I must have been 5 or 6 years old. She gave me a penny to write her name for her. She could neither read nor write and had never gone to school. This was before the time of compulsory education for children.â€Â
Ellen Pierce Weston Perks was born April 29, 1829 in Darby End, Worcestershire, the second of five children born to Richard Pierce (1801-1867) and Ellen Yates (b-1811). She married William Weston about 1850. They became the parents of eight children within 15 years. About five years following William's death, she married John Perks. She died May 7, 1908 in Old Hill, Staffordshire and was buried at St. Luke's Church, Four Ways Churchyard, Cradley Heath, Staffordshire.

Re: Richard Pearce possible marriage error
Marriage is noted as 1822 but I have not found but if you go through details it all ties in that Ellen Yates not Eleanor Tromans.
Thomas Pearce married Eliza Russon who was already on bcc so have made that connection as marriage details her father as Thomas Russon deceased miner and his father as Richard Pearce Miner and most importantly Ellen Pearce as witness who is either his mother Ellen or his sister Ellen
I will have another look for marriage
