Grounded!

Post by dianel »

Had to have radioactive iodine treatment for an overactive thyroid (only part of me that is overactive ... oh, and the imagination).

So I'm in quarantine for 5 days. Not allowed nearer to any-one than 1 metre for short times and 2 metres for longer times. Can't teach Tai Chi. Can't shop  !

No hanky-panky according to the doc.

Can't prepare Brian's meals

So I might just get lots of research done... Watch out BCC!

Can't say many people would want to copy you, but boy, what an excuse (sorry reason) for being chained to your puter for a week without the family having a "go". Hope it does the trick and you feel better soon.

So will you be peeing purple for a week?

At least the glow eminating from your body saves electricity. No need to turn on a light to see where your going.

Thanks, Maggie. I wasn't actually feeling bad in the first place. Just had too high a blood thyroxin reading. Tnt is to stop it getting worse.

I've been entertaining myself with my new washing machine & dryer. Never thought that I would look forward to things domestic.

Hi Di
I thought this was going to be someone moaning about the volcanic ash situation again!
Sorry you have this treatment. Hope it works well for you.
