ARC TBC..............Kettles and Bastables

Just seeing all those street addresses I thought there must be a link to the KETTLES in the BCC tree.
I do have a Helen "Nellie" BASTABLE ( born 1910) married to Albert William KETTLE ( born 1908 Langley)... they married in 1935, Oldbury.
Albert William was the brother of George Ernest KETTLE ( born 1909 Langley)... he is in the BCC tree ( they are both sons of Albert KETTLE born 1877 Dodderhill... in BCC tree)
I'm not sure how Nellie fits in with the BASTABLES in the BCC tree though.... I haven't had time to explore who her parents were..... anyone come across this lady before?
I will have a proper look when I have a bit more time.

Looks like they have a couple of generations going back aswell.... I will have another look and check on what they found.

William Walker hd. 50 Lab. b. Brailes
Jane Walker wife 48 b. Tipton
William BASTABLE adopted 15 Errand Boy b. Oldbury
George Powell boarder 51 Lab. b. Quinton

Yes... that would probably clarify things a bit?
Had another look at that tree someone posted on Ancestry.... they have William George BASTABLE born 14 Nov 1876... parents Edward BASTABLE (b.1856) and Margaret Ellen EDWARDS ( b.1857). In 1881, they have the mother living at 24 Nelson St, Oldbury and have William as being adopted by the Walkers at no. 4 Nelson St.
They also have a marriage for Edward BASTABLE and Margaret Ellen EDWARDS .....Dec 1876 ( that would be a month after William's birth)
I don't know where they got their info. from?.... whether the parents are just a guess?.... the birth date is very precise though?

Seems okay ...but...Don't take someone elses tree as gospal.
for £9.00 you can get your own copy of birth cert. and then you
will be 99% sure it is correct...Its up to you.
