That crazy man of mine is at it again! He's running the Hamburg Marathon on sunday, he's hoping for a time under 3 and a half hours, but it's forcast hot weather, so maybe a little slower. He ran his last one in 3 hours 50, but this time he's stuck to a proper training plan, so fingers crossed......

Water's not a problem, they have plenty of water stations all the way round - it's more difficult when he's training as any sort of belt/ backpack is annoying and can rub a bit.

Well Snnopysue you will have to run at his side while he is training and carry the water for him.
He did it in 3 hours and 27 mins - it was dead hot too!!! I did the other Hamburg(er) Marathon!! Today there were quite a lot of limping young men around the city - mine ended up with some good blisters between his big toe and the next toe, but otherwise was just tired.
Oh and I can recomend Hamburg for a city break, lovely city, wit some good shopping possibilities. Just to show how crazy he is, my husband ran 42.2 km yesterday, and he's gone running this evening - just to loosen the legs up a bit!
