Friday the 13th and all the planets lining up...

Post by MarkCDodd »

Should I step outside today?

Will the aligned planets combine their gravity and suck me off the planet?

What if I step outside and a black cat crosses my path (which has already happened a few times this morning as I own a black cat).

Since I have already set up my telescope to see the aligned planets I suppose I will have to take the chance.

I always thought black cats were lucky - unless you fell over one :-)

Have a lovely Friday 13th - I have a friend to who takes to her bed everytime this day occurs - she only gets out for anything really necessary and refuses to open her front door until the next day.

I think any mouse or rat that crossed paths with Blackie (yes, that is his highly original name) would find it very unlucky.

Typical Melbourne. A once in a 100 year chance to see the alignment and the clouds were too thick. I was thinking of driving up the Dandenongs to have a look but my brother in law said they were having a pea souper up there so not to bother.

My trouble and strife just got home and found me up a ladder changing light bulbs. Said it was a silly thing to do on Friday the 13th.

The trouble is that Friday the 13th isn't really Friday the 13th at all but really Friday 2nd.

Give us back our eleven days!

I didn't realise it was Friday the 13th today till I was on my way out of the door and my other half said, 'be careful on the way to work, you do know what day it is?' Needless to say I was not impressed, had a very sedate drive into work
