How Long is half an hour to teenagers?

Post by grangers14 »

Do teenagers really think 3 hours = half an hour? :wtf:

But there will be no tea or any toast cooked tonight!

Oh my!

Not my teenager by the way!

Oh a day with other childrens problems I could do without. I dont know how you teachers cope! :o

I sometimes wonder that too -- the worst time was when I had teenagers of my own at home and then more at school !! --- I spent the time at home desperately trying to get my teenagers to behave like responsible human beings and the time at school trying to get other peoples' teenagers to behave like responsible human beings -- it seemed like a Herculean task .

Now I just have the problem with other people's children and at parents' evenings I find myself reassuring worried parents that in my experience they generally do come out of teenage years as very likebale responsible human beings -- if they have the patience to wait.

I found I had to wait until 20 for my daughter and 25 for my elder son -- I am still waiting for the younger son to get there !!!!

The answer to your question will depend on whether they want you to do something or you want them to do something!

Unless of course they want some washing done, then 3 hours is more like ten minutes!
