SPENCERs of Bedfordshire/Warwickshire/Northamptonshire and London!! Are there any SPENCERs out there today---still possessing the SPENCER last name (or as your maiden name)
that can trace back to EITHER that of HENRY OF BADBY (ie-Henry SPENCER,Esq.), who was b.c. 1385/died 1476 of Badby (town) Northants., who married Isabel LINCOLN---or who are
descended of a SPENCER clan of any of the above counties, or who THINK/KNOW they are of the SAME Spencer group as Either that of the ALTHORP (Diana's) SPENCERS, the MARLBOR- OUGH SPENCERS (ie- the SPENCER-churchill's of WINSTON'S line),or of NICHOLAS OF COPLE's
Spencer clan (ie-Nick jr.went to America early 1600s-became GOVERNOR of the VIRGINIA Colony)but several of his Sibs REMAINED IN ENGLAND....Any descendants of his today? If you
have been told/or hinted at, that you belong to this PARTICULAR Spencer clan of above groups...please contact me! ALSO----if anyone descends from DANIEL SPENCER the London Grocer/successful biz man of mid-1600s---who owned property all over the UK including the still standing RED LION INN, of Hitchin, Hertsfordshire-----also please contact me. He is a cousin to my line---the line of down from HENRY of BADBY down thru JOHN OF EDWORTH (ie- John SPENCER b.c.1505 of St.Albans to Edworth, Beds.) down to Michael, Gerard, then his 4 sons Spencer bros.who emigrate from Stotfold,Beds. to America circa 1630. I am directly de- scended of 1 of the 4 brothers--ie-Michael SPENCER. I have TONS of SPENCER INFO, OLD PIX, GEN.CHARTS,etc. to share/exchange with those OF THIS PARTICULAR SPENCER GROUP.
