COMPLETED - 1871 Birmingham,Warwickshire

Post by stormswift »

Would someone be kind enough to look up for me

Emma Green, born abt 1844. She should have 2/3 children John 5 Elizabeth 3 and maybe Thomas who would possibly be 1.
I'm looking to see who her husband is and if possible a maiden name. I have her on the 1881 census but alas she is a widower.

What site is this from maths girl ? Are they listed like this, husband/wife husband/wife etc. I've just seen indexes ie single person entries, so then look for the spouse and try n match the indexes

These are from Ancestry which gives a page worth of entries so we cannot be sure who married whom but can sometimes eliminate all the other possible pairings eg if Henry H Edge has a wife Emma in 1871 census it makes this John/Emma less likely although not impossible as Henry could have remarried but if he is living with an Isabella and at some future census he has his mother-in-law with him called Mousley it would make that pairing more likely!
