You are all so smart I bet someone has a good idea....
A friend wants advice about how to reduce sun-damage in her flat. It is a small attic flat and most of the windows are under the eaves so there are both dormer windows and skylights. She had a blind company come and measure but they said the windows were too wonky to make blinds to fit.
So what are the options?
And there are also three round domed skylights which are also a problem as the sun destroys the parquet. I can't think of anyway to deal with those!
Personally I think they should sell but that is not an option. So, what is there? Anyone tried that stick on film? Or is the old plastic-coated wire and nets the best idea?

Re: Window dressing
The Venetian blinds they sell in Denmark have brackets for at the bottom of the blinds so that they can hang on a sloping window. If the windows your friend has happen to be Velux, they do blinds that fit.
One thing that did come to mind for the skylights is the sort of blinds that run in runners in for caravan skylights. I'm sure you must be able to get them for domestic use too! If the skylights aren't too old, try contacting the manufacturers as they may have something!
I know the best places here to look for many different alternatives is carpet showrooms! Sounds odd, especially if they're part of a chain, as they have many more different options than the smaller places (and in our case were more competitive as far as the price goes!).
