SORTED THANKS 1841/41 CENSUS LOOKUP

Post by CHINAGIRL »

Hi I am looking for Mary Ann TURNER born Newcastle area, Northumberland abt 1830c. Father George Turner. I have her married to John McWilliams in 1853. So I would like to find her with her parents in 1841/51 if at all possible. I have the parish record of the marriage which has her father named as George, but this is all I have to go on. Census has her age between 1825 and 1835, she cant make her mind up! Which does not help much. Please help if you can
Best wishes
Kathy

hi, thanks for your reply, you may have them in 1851, Mary has her father as a Labourer on the marriage record. She also says she is of age, clearly not to be trusted. Any luck with 1841, we may be able to match her up with another record.

Thanks for your help

Here they are Chinagirl

1841: Hillgate No middle names & Mary mistranscribed?

George Turner 34 Warehouseman?
Mary Turner 35
Nicholas Turner 10
George Turner 9

Margt Turner 6

something strange here....when you click on the preview it shows all the above but when you look at the actual image it only shows the first four :?

Hi, thanks for the lookup, the family may be on 2 pages if they appear at the top or bottom of the page, it happens sometimes. This has been a long hard road, Mary married John McWilliams and he came from Ireland at some point, so its a bit of a dead end with him just now.
Thnaks again
