Mere Literary Festival

Post by SRD »

A shameless plug for the small literary festival we run in our village each year. The website can be found at http://www.www.merelitfest.co.uk and our biennial competition details at http://www.merelitfest.co.uk/downloads/download.html. If you fancy yourself as a poet, or even if you don't, please give it a go, it's in a good cause; a local charity that provides transport to and fro hospital appointments, doctor's surgeries, hairdressers, shops, library etc. for those who can't find transport of their own. The charity's website is at http://www.merelink.co.uk/.

Thanks.

I love poetry. Here's one ...
So this is who I am,
And this is all I know,
And I must choose to live,
For all that I can give,
The spark that makes the power grow .....

Nice or not!! Í found the verse the other day in a book of poems and verses i was collecting but failed to note the title and author.
Who wrote it?
