My kind of Cake!

Post by snoopysue »

Saw the fella who makes these on the box this morning!

http://www.3d-cakes.co.uk/product_novel ... e=Designer Handbags and Purses

That's a good combo, cake and shoes and bags!
And the only way I'd want a Louis Vuitton bag!

Don't think I could put them in order of preference! My husband on the other hand...he'd say cake, shoes, bags and then cake cake cake!

My friend's husband owned a doughnut factory in Birmingham. He used to bring home a selection for the neighbours every week. Never knew there were so may ways to decorate a doughnut. Absolutely delicious :!:

In the dim and distant past I worked for a while in Tesco's packing shoppers bags! Sometimes I got to work in other departments if they were short staffed. One day I was in the bakery, and got to put jam in the doughnuts! That day there was extra jam in, no guesses what I bourght on the way home!!!

My husband the cruel person he is, teases me about my time in the TA, he calls us doughnut warriors!

I lurrrrve doughnuts! But I'm a purist, I only like the plain cinnamon and sugar-dusted ones with the hole in the middle. There used to be a doughnut shop right where I had to pass to catch the train home. The fragrance!!! I could never resist buying a couple. Once I bought a dozen to take home ... at the end of my hour's journey there wasn't a single one left in the bag! Don't know where they went, but I wasn't hungry.
Some mistakes are too much fun

Lethal, those doughnut shops. Went shopping yesterday in Sainsbury's and thought I'd take one home for an afternoon snack, trouble was, they were selling them 3 for the price of two - so I had to buy three didn't I? They cook them on the premises and having tried them from other from supermarkets, have to say I think Sainsbury's are the best.

There's nothing like the smell of cooking doughnuts when you walk along the sea front - love them warm, straight from the pan. We take the kids out sometimes on the Severn Valley Railway and they always ask if there will be doughnuts on the platform. When there'e something on, they always have doughnuts on the platform at Kiddy, we buy a bagful for the journey and they're always gone before the train comes.
