Looking for anything on Thomas Hingley after he went to Canada and America.

I have an immigration record of him entering Quebec, Canada in October 1925 and then going to Detroit, Michigan in September 1929. Says he is going to join a cousin James Blair at 966 Reed Place, Detroit. Don't know of any Blair relatives. He must have returned to Canada as my father visited him there during the War. I believe he was with an older woman who had two daughters and they then had a son. I also found something that said he died in 1971 in Michigan so maybe he went back to America.

Thanks grangers 14. I had also seen that April 1927 date.
That's interesting about him returning to England - maybe that was when his mother died? I wonder if Mrs F. Ash was the lady he took up with?
