I copied this across from the Social History section to run with 3 of the children mentioned
in the clip at 0.31

Working on the Dudley Road outside Wolverhampton
for Sidney Cartwright he was a Toy manuf
workforce mainly young children

1. John Mosely 12......"a poor little creature for his age all in rags unhealthy unhappy...."

2. Daniel Ford 10/11..."doesnt know what month of year it is has never heard of a snowdrop or crocus..."

3. Mary Perry aged 10..." feels very tired at night a poor sickly little thing..."

who were they and let's put them on the BCC tree to remember them

what the Government inspector found in 1834 was pitiful

Sad to listen to, isn't it?

I can't find people to fit these ages at all. Perhaps someone else will do better?
I did find this one:

1841
Bell Street (same census Piece as Sidney Cartwright)
John Mosely 30 coak founder y
Elizabeth ditto 30 y
John ditto 12 toy trade y
Mary ditto 9 y
Harriet ditto 10wks y

but he would have been only 5 in 1834
