This one can't be right cos on the 1861 Census there is Elizabeth Gaunt age 76 who must be Lydia's mother

perhaps this is her with Lydia's father...

Nothing on my Parsons records so need to look up Marriage.
Have found Ann Gaunt married a John Cole in 1842 All Saints West Bromwich and another dau Alice Gaunt .
Father of Jeremiah was possibly Richard Gaunt and Lydia Fletcher which ties up with dau Lydia for Jeremiah

Well done Jimmy,
Martha Parsons the witness is almost certainly sister of Elizabeth Parsons .
She married William Hodgetts
Richard Gaunt is either Father of Jeremiah or brother.

Found also
Frances Gaunt baptised RR 25./6/1815 of Jeremiah and Elizabeth Gaunt

Ann Gaunt baptised 1/4/1821 Jeremiah and Elizabeth Village Butcher
Married John Cole born 1823
Richard Gaunt son of Jeremiah and Elizabeth baptised 24/1/1810 married an Ann Tyrer or Tyner ( sometimes noted as James Richard Gaunt)

Parents of Jeremiah were Richard Gaunt (1739 to 1830 ) and Lydia Fletcher (1747 to 1789)
Richard Gaunt is noted as Witness in numerous RR records from 1812 to 1830

I think it is good to connect the two Elizabeth Parsons as confirmed by Marriage Witness as Martha Parsons sister of Elizabeth
