Phishing emails

Post by Teifi »

Is anyone else being plagued with phishing emails?

In the past two weeks, I've had three purporting to be from TSB addressing me as
'Dear valued Customer' - I've never had a TSB account! When I tried to investigate
where they originated - it turns out they were from Russia!!

This morning I've had one from the Halifax, now they are concerned that there have
been some unauthorised attempts on my online account - Guess what? - That's right
haven't got (or ever had) one!!!

These all end up in the Junk Mail file, but it does concern me that someone may end
up filling in their details and their bank account is emptied.

I keep on getting ones selling penis enlargement.

"Add another two inches" they boast.

I tried replying and explaining that 14 inches would scare my wife but they keep sending them :P
