Thanks very much for that kdw, really useful. I wonder what happened to John. I can't see find him anywhere but his wife is recorded as still being married. They are living in the same house as Benjamin Cartwright, aged 70 and I wondered if this was John's father, but I can't see John with a Benjamin.
