There's an Ancestry tree that says that a Thomas Toy, b. 07 AUG 1856 in Jump, Yorkshire, England, was the son of Ann Darby (1827 Wordsley, Staffordshire, England) and John Toy (12 JUN 1825 in Oldbury, Worcestershire, England. - 1879 in Smethwick, Staffordshire, England).

Ann Darby a daughter of Sarah?
