Sixties Gold!!!

Post by Rob »

After some heavy researching for my Family Tree i was glad to be able to go to the Symphony Hall Birmingham to see a 60's package tour.
Chip Hawkes(Tremeloes) PJ Proby ,Gerry and the Pacemakers and, wait for it , The Searchers!!
They were all brilliant but Frank Allen and John McNally are true Legends!!
I met and shook their hands after the show and you couldn't wish for two nicer people.
John's 69 and Frank's 67 next month so let's not talk about getting old!! It's all in the mind!!

The acoustics are very good.
Last time i was there for Bobby Vee we were right up in the gods.I had a nosebleed but this time we were 3 rows back from the stage.
The Symphony Hall is great far better than the NEC.
Can't wait for the next concert.

Hi Rob, the gig sounded wonderful, I loved the Searchers, why don't people make music like that anymore :!: I've also been to the Symphony Hall a few times, love it. Linell.
