Missing Pearson Family

Post by Antie Em »

James Pearson married Jane Houghton in 1839 and they had five children. James died between 1851 and 1861 and Jane remarried to John Roger(s). I have their marriage in 1860 at St Marks in Pensnett and in 1861 with some of the Pearson children. I can't find any sight of parents or children after this census. I have a possible marriage for one child, Sarah Jane to Edward Perry in 1860 - but can't find this couple either. I have added as much info as I can to the BCC tree here - http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... =960028409. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Pete - I had looked at that one but her age is 9 years out. It just seems odd that the whole family disappear - I wonder if they went overseas.

I'll get that marriage thanks Jimmy- I had looked at this one and thought this one was a bit wierd because there is a marriage for Sarah Jane Pearson (who may be Jane's daughter) to Edward Perry - 18.11.1860 - Christ Church, Quarry Bank:
Marriage Details :
Edward Perry : Aged 21 - Widower - Miner - Brierley Hill - Father Dead
Sarah Jane Pearson : Aged 19 - Spinster - Servant - Brierley Hill - Father Dead
Witnesses : William Smith and Eliza Smith

But I couldn't tie up the families and I couldn't find Sarah Jane and Edward in 1871 either
