hairyes family photographs
hi everyone,my name is nicholas hairyes, i am new to this so i apoligize if i make any mistakes. i am searching for photographs of my family. and i could do it some help. i have contacted my family, war museums,ancestry,and genes reunited to know avail. i am searching for my great great gradfather john hairyes born 1865 in harragate he worked as a panell setter and died 1819. he was married to rebbeca thompson and died in holbeck in leeds. and also his father william hairyes born 1836 in balk died 1890 had 3 wives.worked as a farm laborerer,last job was a porter last lived in leeds.thanks

Hi Nicholas, welcome to the forum.
It sounds like you have looked in the obvious places already Do have any reason to expect that a photograph of John Hairyes exists? My ancestors born that early mostly left no photographs behind, as far as I know.
When you say that you have asked your family, what does that mean? Your best chance may be to work out a family tree and then try and hunt down some of your second cousins or so on. Northern Lass, who is one of the key people on here, are cousins of sorts (my great grandfather was her greatgreat grandfather) and we have found via another family connection a photograph which may (or may not) be of our joint ancestor.
