I am trying to trace an Anthony Robinson born circa 1798/1800. Unfortunatly he died in 1841 just before the census of that year so I am not able to say where he was born. He was married to Margaret Cullen who came from Canterbury, Kent and I would imagine they were married sometime in the late 1820s.
What I can tell you is that they spent their years together in the Hoxton/Shoreditch area and their children seem to have been Christened in the churches of St. Leonard Shoreditch and St. John the Baptist Hoxton. The earliest birth I have for their children is 1831 and he was buried at St. John's on the 2nd. May 1841 it gives his age as 41.
It is possible, if he was the eldest child in his family, that I would be able to find his parent's in the 1851 census. Robinson seems to be a fairly common surname especially in, The North of England but there seems to have been quite a number of them in Middlesex from the 1400s so if I could pinpoint his birth and marriage it would help me no end. I would imagine if they were married in the area it would have been in, St. Leonard's of Shoreditch.
Can anyone of your magic people find anything?
Ive foung the parish death on ancestry but thats about it!
Thanks
Andrew
