William's first wife Hannah died about 1854.
I have found William in Moxley as the executor to his presumed sister Jane Small (née Cleaton) in 1867 and
In 1861 I've found his sister (?) Jane Small in Holyhead Road as well as other Cleaton's who are born in Montgomershire (a few doors down from each other).
And I've found William from the 1840's to the 1870's as a shoemaker in Moxley in various directories - unfortunately none of them are more specific than Moxley.
As yet I've to confirm that William and Jane are brother and sister, but it seems likely that they are related in some way. Jane was born in 1796, died in 1867. Her parents are William and Eleanor Cleaton.
Can anybody help?
Thanks
Sue
