Can't wait to see it - must make an effort to read the book yet again before it's released. Hope it's in 3D. My grandkids love the first bit "an unexpected party" what a great story.

I'll probaly end up seeing it on my own, as husband and most close friends don't know what all the fuss is about - Lord of the Rings is their idea of a cinematic nightmare! 
At least we know it'll be done properly with Peter Jackson at the helm.
