I have found possible right Adelaide but would need help to validate as not 100% .
On BCC Thomas Jones born 1864 W' Ton is shown as married to Adelaide Unknown born 1864.
On 1891 Census I found Thomas Jones b. 1864 Heath Town, Staffs. and wife Adelaide born 1865 Bilston Staffs. and daughter Millie Jones born 1890 Walsall Address Rutter St. Walsall.
I then found Thomas Jones married an Adelaide Leadbeater in Dec. Q. of 1889 Wolverhampton vol.6b page 946.
which ties up with 1891 Census.
In Census records prior to 1891 I can only find an Adeline Leadbeater daughter of Frederick and Amy born in 1864 Bilston, Staffs.so it appears either Adeline/Adelaide amended name or wrong person.

1871 census as Adelaide LEADBEATER with Father Frederick and mother Amy.
It looks like Fred died 1878.

Hi Jimmy I think the one you flag in 1881 is the correct one that married Thomas.

On the 1901 she is with hubby Thomas and down as Ada.
So that is the one that looks good to me.
esp as that one I found has an actual birth of 1876. got to be the one with Frederick and amy

So she must be born 1864-65 Staffs....trying to find her birth....

well I have just been thru the complete indexes for Ledbetter/bitter /beater and Leadbetter and variants for 64 and 65 and nothing apart from that one!

so I am going to put on the tree Adelaide and parents Frederick and Amy

so shall we run with finding their marriage?
