Hello,
I've just joined the forum, I'm Peter Deneve - volonteer firefighter in Ninove Belgium, and me and a collegue are doiing a research for a war grave in our town, it is a grave from a casualty in WW2 may 1940. It was a member of 2nd Lincolshire Regiment Pte Joseph Fail, Service No:4446116
Additional information:Son of Elizebeth Fail, and stepson of Joseph Potts; grandson of Annie Fail, of Sunderland, Co. Durham.
Name: Joseph Fail
Year of Registration: 1909
Quarter of Registration: Jul-Aug-Sep
District: Sunderland
County: Durham, Tyne and Wear
Thanks to another forum - WW2talk.com - we have got more info about the family structure.
Now, on next link I found something what may lead to something new :
marriage : Joseph Fail Beatrice Bell 1928 Northumberland England : http://genealinks.com/marriages3/records106.htm
Is there any way to find out or this jospeh fail is the Pte where we are doing soms research for?
Thanks for any assistance and help.
Regards
Peter

Re: Joseph Fail, Sunderland/Durham
There are other possible marriages in Northumberland but I don't think he was married.
Minnie Nevens in Tynemouth 1928 for instance.
The family trees I have seen for him do not mention a marriage.
