Ebay

Post by Northern Lass »

Do any of you use it?
I have a friend who is a marvel on it and has shown me some fab shoes
not telling you which ones or you will bid on them
I got all my bugles from there and I have to say the dealers were great
have any of you made lots of money on there
any tales of woe

I got a bespoke, tailor made suit on there for £100. Nowhere near the price it would have been to buy from a tailor in the city.

My son sells loads of stuff on there, uses it as away of
getting money to keep his car on road.

Some good sellers on there, but one or two dodgy people
always check there feedback first.

I've bought quite a few things here and there, but usually on 'Buy it now' as there have been too many occasions where I've been 'pipped at the post' by another bidder. It's really frustrating to get into the last few seconds of an item and be outbid!!

Watch out for prices on items, though, as you might not necessarily get the best deal. I've looked for things on ebay and then found them cheaper on amazon or other websites.

By the way CEX.co.uk, is pretty good for secondhand dvds, music etc. I've had some really good bargains.
